Katerina Oskarsson, Ph.D.
Katerina Oskarsson serves as Executive in Residence and Director of the Redwood Region Climate and Community Resilience Hub (CORE Hub) located in Humboldt County, California. The CORE Hub facilitates community engagement and community benefit strategies around offshore wind energy development to help ensure that the new offshore wind industry cluster is implemented sustainably, with widespread and equitable community benefits. Prior to that, she served as Chief Strategy Officer of RISE, a coastal resilience innovation hub and business accelerator. Before that, she served as Deputy Chief Resilience Officer for the City of Norfolk, Virginia. She also worked on various aspects of energy security at the NATO Civil-Military Fusion Center, Old Dominion University and CEZ Group, one of the largest energy conglomerates in Central Europe.
