Washington, D.C. — Turn Forward Executive Director Hillary Bright issued the following statement on passage of reconciliation legislation by the U.S. Senate:

“Unfortunately, the Senate’s reconciliation bill ignores the jobs, manufacturing activity, and massive electrical power generation that offshore wind and other renewables can deliver. If Congress and the Trump Administration hope to boost energy intensive sectors like AI and crypto while stimulating an American manufacturing renaissance, they must chart a radically different course or risk undercutting the very policy goals they promote. Our energy policy should celebrate sectors like offshore wind that boost our domestic electricity supply with shovel-ready projects that create jobs and positive economic growth here at home.”
